Now available for X-Plane 12

The Ford Tri-Motor 4-AT was the smaller of the Tri-Motors put into production by Ford.

It had a shorter wingspan, smaller cabin carrying less passengers, and smaller less-powerful engines compared to the 5-AT model.

A very versatile workhorse it was not only used for commercial passenger service but also for bush operations, sightseeing tours, corporate business and military operations.

This package contains several versions of the 4-AT.:

The basic 4-AT model comes in both wheel and float versions and includes 11 liveries (Ford, Stout Aerial Tours, Standard Oil, Ford NC1077, Miss Niagara, United Air Transport (Canada), Northern Airways (Yukon), Maddux, Curtiss Wright, NYRBA (South America), and the Tri-Ford).
The 4-AT-E model used more powerful engines and had a redesigned cockpit window arrangement with vertical windows instead of sloped. This package includes the wheel version and comes in 5 liveries (Ford, Eastern, CLASSA (Spain), G-ABEF (UK), and the US Marines).
Also included in the package is Admiral Byrd’s modified 4-AT that was the first plane to fly over the South Pole. The plane had a larger 525hp center engine with three-bladed prop and carried extra fuel in a large tank in the cabin. The plane comes in both wheel and ski versions.

Several of these liveries are also historical, including planes flown by Lindburgh, Earhart, and others; the only “Tri-Ford”; the first Tri-Motor on floats; and others.

Documentation included gives a short history of each of the planes.

Highly detailed PBR textures (updated and includes custom interiors)
Improved and updated modeling including new highly detailed engines

Byrd plane engine performance updated with new XP12 capability for different engine sizes
A pop-up to control co-pilot functions such as the fuel controls located behind the pilot and for quick readout of engine-mounted gauges
The Garmin 430 can be displayed if modern flying is desired
POH flight manual
