Charleston West Virginia Intl. Airport, also known as Yeager Airport is the largest and busiest airport in West Virginia with daily connections to Atlanta, Philadelphia, Washington, Orlando, Chicago, and (seasonally) Myrtle Beach. It is also the base of military facilities such as the West Virginia National Guard, the Capital Jet Center for general aviation and the new Bill Noe Flight School! The airport itself sits on a flattened hilltop 300ft above the valleys of the Elk and Kanawha River. Due to its short runway and the hills which drop off very sharply all around makes the airport to one of the most challenging airports in North America!
