Thank you for choosing my Rand Robinson KR-2S!
This aircraft is a detailed simulation of the iconic Rand Robinson KR-2S home-built plane, faithfully modeled after the real aircraft built by Marcel Driessen in 2016 (registration PH-KRS), which I regularly fly.
I created this model not only to share the fun and practicality of flying the KR-2S, but also to support my own training during type rating. Built to showcase the aircraft’s unique handling characteristics, this project leverages the advanced flight dynamics and physics simulation of X-Plane 12. The flight model has been fine-tuned based on real-world flying experience, ensuring highly accurate behavior in all phases of flight. Authentic sound recordings were used to create an immersive audio environment.
Before your first flight, please take a moment to review the User Manual to get the most out of your experience.
