What's new in V-22 Osprey XP11 1.6

-- Complete VR overhaul of cockpit, aft cabin and exterior walk around by "SimVRlabs" Joe Kipfer.
VR controler click spots for opening/closing crew entry door and steps, lowering and raising the
ramp and folding up the seats in back. Exterior tellaprot spots for "walking" around outside the
plane on the ground or flying along side the aircraft in flight "superman" style.
-- New aft cabin details: detailed crew entry door stair steps and animated open/close latch handle,
sliding upper crew door with grab handle, flip up/down troop seats, 3D object fire exstiguishers
and ramp actuators. Plus, new textures for the ramp, all by Franco Pizzagalli.

-- Increased VR HUD display distance from user's eyes to make VR more comfortable.
-- Replaced default X-plane CDU739 FMS and custom terrain map with the Garmin G1000 MDF/moving map.
First click on the far right CDU page button to get the G1000 screen to show on the CDU screen,
then click on the map screen to get the large G1000 to pop up.

Version 1.5 (August 31st 2018)
-- New Track IR / VR HMD (Helmet Mounted Display). Displays in Track IR and VR moes. Stays in front
of your eyes when you turn your head.
-- New 2d/3D cockpit HUD. New math corrects for R2c and Target Track head movements to keep the HUD
centered in front of you no matter where those plugins point the pilot camera. This is how the
"real" F-35 HMD works and along with the TIR/VR HMD above will feature in our up comming F-35A
and F-35B update.
-- New color coded vertical descent rate awareness bars in the Track IR / VR HMD, on the pilot's
PFD's and in camera display. These were designed to increase your descent rate situational
awareness, allowing you to add power sooner and arrest high sink rates before it developed into
VRS (Vortex Ring State).
-- VR manipulator "latches" for TCLs (Thrust Control Levers) and control sticks. Flaps switch can
now be manually set with mouse or VR controller as long as auto_flaps switch is OFF.
-- New auto_flap, auto_tilt and auto_trim schedules adapted from my flight testing work on our still
in development Leonard AW609 Tilt-Rotor. According to beta testers these greatly improve handling
and intuitive control of the Osprey during transitions and conversions.
-- New camera.lua logic developed for a customer who wants a -90 (straight down) camera angle for
precision landing. Note: the camera "blacks out" when you point the aircraft's nose toward the
sun, so I added a "sun direction" arrow that points TOWARD the sun. In a hover, turn the Osprey
with rudder pedals until the sun arrow points straight down (aft). That puts the sun at your back
and clears the camera. There's another sun arrow on the main CDU page, as well as a moon pointer
that displays whenever the moon is above the horizon. The moon pointer points AT the moon.
New FMOD sounds implemented
New moving terrain elevation map uses subdued "sectionl map" color pallet
New DECEL to help you slow the Osprey on approach. Basically, I have added speed brakes to the model where "real life" Osprey's do not have speed brakes. Use a keyboard shortcut key combo or program a switch on your HOTAS system to toggle speed brakes ON/OFF. I have modeled two speed brake levels: 50% triggers green DECEL text above IAS on cockpit PFD. 100% triggers yellow DECEL.
Touch down or > 80% throttle closes the speed brakes.
Deleted CATs (Cabin Aux Tanks) as default cabin load. CATs can be reloaded using instructions found in MV-22B Osprey-XP11 1.3/Documents/development/fuel system notes.txt, read & follow
instructions: Twelve things to know about Cabin Auxilary Tanks (CATs)
Added Nav radio distance measuring (DME) displays to copilot side (left) horizontal situation (HSI) display and pilot (right) side moving map.
a. VOR related display info color coded BLUE.

c. SAME - Com1 & stnby com1 / Nav1 & stnby nav1 info in right glareshield radio control panel

Added "shortcut" buttons on CDU.
a. If CATs are loaded then, on Fuel page: click on top CAT to jettison both CATs.
WARNING! make sure you are airborne, > 500 ft AGL or the resulting explosion when the tanks
hit the ground will destroy your Osprey. This happens even with empty tanks (X-Plane foible)
b. EICAS page: accoss the top, right to left are a row of "touch screen" switches, listed below fuel 1 toggle, engine 1 start, rotor brake toggle, engine 2 start and fuel 2 toggle
For quick shut down start on the right side and work left. Click fuel 2 off. When START 2 appears skip to center and click rotor brake on. Skip space where START 1 will appear and click fuel 1 off.
For quick (re)start set TCL (Thrust Contol Lever) mid way. Click fuel 1 on, click and hold START 1 until FF1 >250. Rotor brake will automatically release when eng 1 begins to spin up.
When 1 is running START 2 will appear. Click and hold START 2 until FF2 >250.
New livery: VIP (Very Important People = Osprey customer personal paint scheme).
New "dirty" Marine Corps squadron liveries
New fuselage and small parts object mapping to accomodate asymetric "forest" camouflage liveries.
New animated 3D propellers
Smoother transitions from airplane to helicopter mode
Switched engine power display from N1 to Tq (torque) per heli pilot suggestion
Camera, map modes, OBS knob, annunciators, master caution and accept switches added
Up to 12 liveries with PBR textures
