The Wilga XP12 will only be $19.95 to allow everyone to discover Thranda's Unique XP12 technology

The PZL-104MA Wilga 2000 is an all-aluminum aircraft, with a high wing, large trailing-link landing gear, and great short-field abilities.

It is powered by a Lycoming IO-540 with an improved Hartzell 3-blade prop. Together this combination produces 290 hp at 2550 RPM, allowing for excellent short-field performance. Its large trailing-link gear absorb impacts when operating on unimproved and bumpy runways, and the full-length fixed leading-edge slats on the wings provide greatly improved slow-speed handling. This combination of features make it an outstanding backcountry aircraft.

In simulating the PZL-104MA Wilga 2000 Thranda worked closely with one of the few owners in the US, even getting some hands-on stick time in the air. They believe they have captured the feel and performance of the real thing with a high degree of fidelity.

This exceptional model by Thranda is part of the "Dynamic Generation Series". More about the DGS Series.

X-Plane 12 update unique improvements and features:

Redone flight dynamics and ground dynamics
re-textured in 8k. All textures, all liveries have gone from 4k to 8k. Exterior textures were completely re-created, rivets, dirt, and all.
New instrument system from new Thranda instrument library infrastructure, with per-instrument logic, including pop-up windows for almost each instrument.
New panel presets, including support for RXP and TDS GTN units (3rd party plugins) and X-Plane's G1000 units.
Thranda main Pop-up window replaced with UEFB (Thranda's modernized and full-featured tablet.)
With the tablet come new and re-programmed features, such as:

Persistence across sessions for settings
Separate static and dynamic livery "apps"
Vastly improved dynamic livery app, featuring new tools, like copy-and-paste for colors, 3D preview, color wheel, better scroll controls, more livery layout presets (templates), rasterizing text for "baking" tailnumbers directly onto the livery, Anti-Alias option, resize output options, CPU or GPU processing, improved render and save times, etc.
New weight and balance manager, standardized to Thranda's new app style
Miscellaneous options (Tundra tires, skis, bubble windows, DynaFeel, window with persistence across flights.
General improvement to the infrastructure of how apps can be added to the UEFB in the future.
Improved checklist, embedded for convenience.
AviTab support in-EFB.

Other features:

New ThrandaPad tablet system
DynaFeel - Advanced custom flight dynamics, affecting control input effects at different airspeeds. Adjust the heaviness of the controls in real-time via sliders in pop-up window.
Regular Tires, Tundra Tires, Skis, bubble window option, swap pilot and copilot
FULLY configurable 3D instrument panel.
Over 50 instruments to choose from! (Including Aspen EFD 1000, and support for RealityXP and TDS versions of the GTN650 and GTN750)
Move any instrument to any location on the panel, or even between pilot and copilot's panel!
Comes with 6 panel presets, including one with a G1000 layout, but can easily be expanded by moving instruments around, using a simple and intuitive interface.
Save your own presets, and even share them with the community!
Instruments can be moved in 3D directly, on a 2D pop-up preview window, or by numerical entry for precise placement, with improved controls
GNS430, 530s, and G1000s can be swapped out, but a restart of the plane is required, as X-Plane's units are mutually exclusive in terms of compatibility in X-Plane
Dynamic livery editor (like in the Kodiak, the Pilatus PC-6, and the Beaver)
Full PBR control! Create stunning metallic liveries, or matte, sand-blasted look in mere seconds! Vastly improved export times, due to C++ "outsourcing".
Additional control over dirt/grime, scratches/nicks, adjustable in real-time to dial in the exact desired amount of wear and tear. Affects airspeed. Clean plane will fly 2-3 MPH faster.
Create "virtual" liveries, based on two common design layouts, and assign any color to any available paint segment.
Quickly create preview of livery in real-time, using improved, intuitive controls. Previews are now 3D, and include visualization of metallic materials.
Apply selected livery in real-time, right in the sim, without the need to even touch a 3rd party image editor or load extra software.
Option to change the tail number in real-time, or disable it altogether. (Enter a "space" instead of a callsign number to create a blank tail number.) Tailnumber now gets baked into the livery.
Easily and quickly create dozens of unique color schemes in-sim!
Also supports 8 traditionally painted 8k liveries, all visible in a convenient pre-selection preview window.
Uses SkunkCrafts Updater.
Excellent hi-res PBR realistic materials, featuring true-to-life plate deformation and to-the-rivet precision.

Flight dynamics and systems:

DynaFeel: an increase in airspeed doesn't just limit the control surface deflections, as normally done in flight sims... but control deflections feel increasingly heavy. Tiny deflections still feel nimble, even at higher speeds.
The Wilga's trailing link front suspension provides ultra-plush damping and shock absorption, but also has some unique quirks during taxiing that are also simulated.
The Wilga also has permanent leading edge slats, contributing greatly to its docile flight and stall characteristics.
This model of the Wilga has the most powerful engine of the series, making it excellent for STOL operations and bush flying.
Tie-downs and chocks actually keep the plane from moving, even in high winds.
Doors can be jettisoned.

Advanced FMOD-based sound system:

High fidelity, multi-track sounds with smooth transitions and amazing atmospheric effects.
Different sounds for front of plane than for back of plane
Panning around the plane in exterior view yields awesome 3D audio effects, including "blade slapping" sound when view is perpendicular to prop
Individual buttons and switches in the cockpit each have their own unique sound.
Sound of engine cooling off after flight realistically implemented (based on temperature)
Outside wind intensity is affected by slip and AoA. (The more the surface area of the fuselage is hit by oncoming wind, the louder the sounds).

v1.1.6 (Released August 22, 2026)

More reliable load on encrypted / SkunkCrafts installs (required systems datarefs registered)
Fixed a LuaJIT fault that could take the plugin down after a few minutes on some hosts
Quieter encrypted logs (no missing-DevApps spam)
Encrypted equipment / gust-lock datarefs registered so those options stay live after publish

1.1.5 (Released August 19, 2026)

Performance: improvements of 10-20 % achieved by logic gating and other optimizations
Moved more logic away from manifest.json; now housed in "objects>Logic" and sub-categories. Individualized for better control.
Fixed circuit breaker clickspots
Added Alt Select alert lamp and fixed UV of 3D display
Fixed instrument glass covers that weren't showing up properly on some instruments.
Fixed some rogue app icons on the ThrandaPad.
Fixed typo in manual

v1.1.4 (Released August 12, 2026)

Performance: popup-only / non-3D FBO instruments no longer keep redrawing in the background when their pop-ups are closed (noticeable FPS win when flying the 3D panel without opening steam-gauge pop-ups).
Shared SASL chassis refinements from ongoing Bonanza / fleet optimization work.

v1.1.3 (Released August 6, 2026)

Added more options to swap instruments between pilot/copilot side
Added option to add glideslope to the VOR_1 and VOR_2 instruments. (Ensured also that it has persistence)
Worked towards parity of instruments with other planes in the Thranda fleet (still being rolled out).

v1.1.2 (Released August 6, 2026)

Fixed landing gear extended when starting on water
Fixed Dock mode, and made it more intuitive.
Fixed weight and balance page, to reflect no 3rd row passenger seats.

Version 1.1.1 (August 6th 2026)

Replaced the UEFB with the new ThrandaPad tablet system (same class of apps, cleaner framework).
Completely rebuilt the instrument system onto the new Thranda chassis: instruments are now modular FBO cages (BG + Glass), shared with the Bonanza library where applicable, and much more maintainable/updatable.
Moved off the old INSTRUMENTS hierarchy / cockpit.obj-bound instrument pipeline; panel instruments load as standalone cages.
Added pilot/copilot side support for steam gauges that support it (ASI, attitude, altimeter, turn coordinator, RMI, VOR, DG, VVI, etc.).
Improved panel preset editor (thumbnails/names/calibration, pop-up position saving, Apply/Save when the panel has changed).
Improved AviTab interaction inside the ThrandaPad (AviTab update required; free).
Enabled GPU / ground power request behavior in Ground Handling, adapted to current X-Plane electricity logic.
Fixed VR configuration issues that could trigger pop-up spam on load.
Fixed instrument pop-up layer spill, artificial-horizon alignment, and translucent/wrong-layer needle issues.
Optimized many FBO instruments with draw-on-demand rendering (performance).
Synced shared chassis attachments between land and seaplane .acf files (ThrandaPad + instrument cages); seaplane floats/gear left intact.
Cleaned orphan instrument cage 063 (test leftover) from panel presets.
Updated Equipment options (including DoorType in place of the older WindowTint path).
Updated Weight & Balance, DynaFeel, and related ThrandaPad apps for the new pad framework.
Improved SkunkCrafts updater addressing / oncelist preference persistence (reduced update spam).
Added Thranda EULA to documentation.
Many smaller instrument, lighting, pop-up, and usability polish items aligned with the V35/F33 chassis standard.
Made doors and flaps mutually exclusive... if flaps are extended, opening doors will retract the flaps, in order to avoid intersection.
New LuaJit policy (via shared SASL): disabled by default for affected Mac hardware, but still overridable: 0 = auto, 1 = hard-disable (including on non-Macs), 2 = enable (on affected Macs).
Overhauled manual to match new architecture, and added latest ThrandaPad manual addendum
